CUPRA debuts at the Paris Motor Show, continuing to accelerate its growth and demonstrate its full potential. Taking centre stage is a new version of the CUPRA Raval. The brand’s most successful launch to date gets the CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack, bringing a sharper, more expressive and performance-inspired design to CUPRA’s latest urban electric vehicle.
The Paris Motor Show also marks the next chapter for CUPRA KIRO. Following the renewal of the partnership announced at Goodwood 2026, CUPRA presents its new racing car for the GEN4 era of Formula E, the most exciting chapter in the championship’s history. In Paris, the brand also showcased the latest developments in its partnership with Sennheiser and the CUPRA Tindaya showcar, the brand’s vision for the future.
CUPRA Raval: a record-breaking launch
CUPRA made Paris a new stage for the success of the CUPRA Raval. More than a new model, the Raval represents the culmination of the biggest transformation in SEAT & CUPRA’s history and of years of investment to electrify Martorell. With more than €3 billion invested in the plant, the company has transformed its industrial capabilities to lead the Volkswagen Group’s Electric Urban Car Family, bringing together four fully electric models from CUPRA, Volkswagen and Škoda, all made in Spain, with the ambition of making electric mobility more accessible across Europe. This transformation has reinforced Martorell’s position as an automotive powerhouse and reflects the Volkswagen Group’s broader commitment to developing and industrialising competitive electric mobility in Europe, for Europe.
The CUPRA Raval is now translating this industrial milestone into commercial momentum. It has become the most successful launch in the brand’s history, with more than 50,000 customer orders since its introduction in April, more than doubling initial forecasts, and almost 15,000 vehicles already delivered.
The Raval’s strong performance comes as CUPRA continues its growth trajectory. Between January and September 2026, the brand delivered more than 250,000 vehicles, up 2% year on year, with growth across key European markets including Spain, the UK and Italy. This momentum is increasingly electric: BEV orders rose 79% year on year to more than 108,000 units between January and September, while in the third quarter alone they increased by 158%. Almost one in two CUPRA orders in Q3 was for a fully electric vehicle.
Following its strong market reception, the CUPRA Raval takes personalisation further in Paris with the new CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack, reinforcing its position as a key driver of CUPRA’s electric growth.
“The CUPRA Raval marks the completion of the biggest transformation in our company’s history and years of investment to electrify Martorell. Today, it has become the most successful launch in CUPRA’s history, turning that industrial milestone into real commercial momentum. As we showcase our latest innovations in Paris, the CUPRA Raval continues to drive our growth and demonstrates the full potential of the brand.” said Markus Haupt, CEO of SEAT & CUPRA.
A sharper street presence for the CUPRA Raval
Following its introduction on the CUPRA Leon and CUPRA Formentor, the CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack now extends the brand’s collaboration with ABT to the CUPRA Raval. Inspired by the racing DNA of the CUPRA UrbanRebel concept, it translates racing-inspired design cues into a personalised road-going expression of CUPRA’s urban electric hero. This configuration has been created for drivers who want a more individual interpretation of the brand’s latest urban EV.
The CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack transforms the CUPRA Raval through a coherent set of handcrafted exterior and interior elements designed to accentuate its sporting character. The front and rear splitters, together with the side skirts, visually lower the vehicle and create a stronger connection to the road, while the prominent roof spoiler and distinctive winglets enhance its performance-inspired proportions and emotional appeal. Exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels in Sport Black Matt, ABT lettering, Dark Chrome CUPRA logos as standard and bespoke interior details complete a package that brings racing-inspired design and individual expression to CUPRA’s urban electric hero.
From the end of November 2026, the CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack will be available in the configurator for selected CUPRA Raval variants.
When fitted as part of a new vehicle order, the CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack will be handcrafted at the CUPRA Racing Factory before being installed in the vehicle. The process reflects the same attention to detail behind CUPRA’s racing projects, ensuring precise preparation of the components developed as part of the collaboration between CUPRA and ABT. Customers can also add the customisation pack after purchasing their vehicle through the CUPRA dealer network, where it will be fitted by authorised CUPRA specialists.
“By September, CUPRA delivered more than 250,000 vehicles, up 2% year on year, with the CUPRA Raval exceeding all expectations with more than 50,000 orders since its launch. With our ambition to reach 100,000 units next year, the Raval is on track to become CUPRA’s best-selling model. In Paris, we are building on that momentum with the debut of the CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack for the Raval, while our commitment to performance remains strong with our CUPRA KIRO Formula E Team.” Sven Schuwirth, Vice President for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales at SEAT & CUPRA said.
Paris marks the latest milestone in the CUPRA Raval story, but not the last. The brand announced that, early next year, its urban electric vehicle will welcome a new set of features such as the illuminated logo; indicators with exterior projections, a distinctive feature in the segment; a higher top speed of up to 190km/h; and a reversing assist that automatically retraces up to 50 metres of the vehicle’s previous forward path.

CUPRA KIRO ready for the GEN4 era
The Paris Motor Show also marks the next chapter for CUPRA KIRO. Following the renewal of the partnership announced at Goodwood 2026, the team enters the GEN4 era of Formula E, set to redefine the all-electric championship with a new level of performance. Capable of speeds topping 335 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than two seconds and featuring permanent all-wheel drive, the GEN4 car represents the most powerful and technologically advanced generation in Formula E history.
In Paris, the team has unveiled its new Porsche-powered racing car for the 2026/27 season, offering a first glimpse of this new era of competition. The livery of the new racing car marks a fearless evolution of CUPRA KIRO’s racing identity. Retaining its iconic copper colours, inspired by the conductivity of electricity, the bold design reflects the team’s ambition to push the boundaries of performance and innovation in the GEN4 era.
The car was unveiled alongside Jake Hughes, who was confirmed as a CUPRA KIRO driver for the upcoming Formula E season. The British driver joins the team after competing in Formula E with some of the series’ most competitive teams. Recognised for his speed, consistency and technical expertise, with two podiums and four pole positions, Jake represents a key addition to the team’s ambitions for the GEN4 era. He was joined on stage by Pepe Martí, who already extended his journey with CUPRA KIRO for a second consecutive season after finishing as the highest-placed rookie in Formula E last season, securing podium finishes in Monaco and Sanya.
CUPRA and Sennheiser take immersive sound further
Complementing CUPRA’s line-up in Paris, the CUPRA Tavascan Black Edition showcases the latest evolution of CUPRA’s collaboration with Sennheiser. The new SENNHEISER AMBEO Immersive Sound System adds another dimension to the sound experience with four roofline actuators that add a dedicated height layer, enabling a fully immersive 360-degree sound environment that envelops the driver and passengers.
In line with its ambition to push the boundaries of emotion both on and off the road, CUPRA demonstrates in Paris that sound is not only something to be heard, but something to be felt.
This shared vision has been at the heart of the partnership since 2022, when CUPRA introduced Sennheiser’s immersive audio solution, Concerto with AMBEO technology, into the CUPRA Tavascan. What began as a technology collaboration has evolved into a strategic alliance, progressively expanding across the CUPRA range.
The updated CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA Terramar will also feature the SENNHEISER AMBEO Immersive Sound System with the four additional roof actuators, while the CUPRA Leon and CUPRA Leon Sportstourer offer IMMERSIVE BY SENNHEISER.
CUPRA Tindaya Showcar – CUPRA’s bold vision for the future
The CUPRA stand also offers a glimpse into the brand’s vision for the future through the CUPRA Tindaya showcar. Inspired by the dramatic character of its namesake, the concept combines a striking exterior and interior with a radical yet simple idea: “No Drivers, No CUPRA”. Designed around the connection between car and driver, the showcar delivers the maximum expression of driver focus, while offering a unique experience, enhancing the driver’s emotions.
All CUPRA models and highlights will be on display at the Paris Motor Show, in Pavilion 4 from 12th to 18th October.
